Jr. Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering
This Jr. Diploma course is offered through the STEAM Exploratorium of the Excel Group of Schools, a pioneering hub of interdisciplinary learning that houses 26 specialized STEAM labs. Among them, the Excel Space Exploration and Research (ESER) lab leads the delivery of this course, providing students with an engaging, hands-on experience in the exciting world of aeronautics and aviation technology.

The course blends foundational theory with real-world applications. Students explore essential aeronautical concepts such as the principles of flight, Newton’s laws in aviation, and Mach number dynamics. They gain a clear understanding of airport operations, runway design, and maintenance practices.
At the Intermediate Level, the curriculum emphasizes application-based learning. Students study aircraft axis, primary and secondary control surfaces, flight instruments, and advanced propulsion systems—including piston, jet, and cryogenic engines. Runway markings and lighting systems are also covered to broaden operational knowledge.

Hands-on learning is further enhanced through Expert Sessions and Field Visits, where students interact with professionals and aviation environments, followed by structured feedback and discussion.
This course not only builds technical knowledge but also cultivates innovation, analytical thinking, and interdisciplinary skills, empowering students to explore future pathways in aerospace, aviation, and beyond.
